Cairo – Mubasher: The indices of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) showed varied performance on Monday, with the EGX30 main index closing higher by 0.53% at 20,320.56 points.

The small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI retreated by 0.40% to 3,812.64 points.

Meanwhile, the EGX100 EWI rose by 0.13% to 5,688.05 points.

The turnover stood at EGP 2.70 billion after 646.90 million shares were traded, while the market cap value hit EGP 1.37 trillion.

As for trading on securities, the Egyptian and Arab traders were net sellers with EGP 166.06 million and EGP 15.67 million, respectively. Meanwhile, the foreign investors were net buyers with EGP 181.74 million.
